First Chickens, Now...

I wonder how receptive Long Islanders would be to seeing their neighbors turn their front yards into mini-farms. Flowers are one thing; a small field of tomato plants might be another, though I like the idea. I imagine some homeowners' associations would definitely oppose this. On the other hand, no one on Long Island is claiming that rainwater belongs to the government, as is the case in some of the drier states of the country, so at least that's up to the property owner.
