Summer Fun for Pre-Schoolers


Seatuck is planning fun with butterflies as part of its pre-schoolers' summer fun program.

Butterfly Fun
Join us as we celebrate some of nature’s most colorful critters. We’ll learn about the butterfly’s special features and then take a hike in search of them.

End of Summer Celebration
As summer wanes, many of our regular program participants will be moving on to greater adventures. We’ll have a small party to recognize those who have traveled through the four seasons with us and to welcome those who are new to our program. We’ll also break into small groups for a challenging scavenger hunt. Refreshments will be provided.

Birds on the Go
The fall migration is underway. We’ll learn how to use binoculars and then take a hike to find birds stopping by the park on their way down south. We’ll also create our own fast flying birds and get involved in some activities to celebrate the marvels of migration.

Lakeland County Park, Islandia
Seashore Adventure
Join us for an exploration of the sand, shells and sea! We’ll take a hike along the shore and meet some of the wonderful plants and animals that can be found along the barrier beach. We’ll also create our own sand art and join in some adventurous activities along the seashore.
