Cutting Paper, Saving Costs

Better document practices, to reduce costs and improve green operations, is scheduled for discussion Oct. 21.

The Long Island chapter of the US Green Buildings Council
says:

Organizations are constantly looking for ways to cut costs, but don't realize that those cost cutting measures may also have positive environmental effects that can increase goodwill and shareholder value.  You can make your organization more environmentally conscious or "green" by cutting the consumption of paper. Many organizations around the world are utilizing IT solutions to realize their green initiatives.

Smart intuitive solutions, systems and technologies that reduce paper, ink, power, HVAC, and servicing requisites yet effectively distribute and save important documents without occupying precious real estate and the human touch and waste factors.

The session is scheduled for 8-10 a.m. at
Carlyle-on-the-Green
(Bethpage State Park)
99 Quaker Meeting House Rd
Farmingdale.
